  • GLOBAL SHAPERS COMMUNITY

     

    Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional and global challenges. With more than 7,000 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 369 city-based hubs in 171 countries.

     

    In each city, teams of Shapers self-organize to create projects that address the needs of their community. With grassroots knowledge, a global perspective, and ambition to change the world, Shapers are confronting the most pressing issues of our time.

    The Global Shapers Frankfurt Hub is a vibrant community of individuals committed to take action with the objective of improving the state of the world – with particular focus on Frankfurt and surroundings. We want to drive action through projects that foster collaboration, innovation and smart solutions addressing current and future challenges of our society. We see ourselves as an organization building bridges between different stakeholders to drive positive societal change.

    Urban Impact

    Urban Impact is a series of events creating a platform for thought leaders to shape the future of our cities in light of megatrends such as urbanisation and climate change.

    Shaping Pathways

    Our leading platform that facilitates communication and collaboration in the field of integration & diversity. We aim to build the bridge between the mere understanding of the challenges of integration and co-creating best practice solutions through new partnerships and initiatives.

    Gender Equality

    This initiative aims to drive gender equality in the workforce. To achieve this, we partner with educational institutions in the Rhein-Main region and hold workshops so that tomorrow's leaders and managers are better prepared to deal with gender issues when they enter the workforce.

    Coding Project

    The initiative “Shaping Pathways – The Future Is Code” aims to reach teenagers of disadvantaged and underrepresented groups who have very limited access to the digital world.

    Volunteer

    This initiative’s objective is to drive volunteering in Frankfurt, surroundings and beyond. Special attention is accorded to online platforms that present options to volunteer.
